This striking design, came about after a client requested the No. 9 Chair backrest be coupled with my Sculpted Barstool design based on Sam Maloof style.  It was one of those moments when I thought to myself, "Now why didn't I think of that?"

The result is a wonderfully elegant design, with sculptural features and lines that just work together perfectly.  In addition, this is a tremendously comfortable way to sit at the counter and watch while dinner is being prepared.
